Getting Acquainted With Lily
My favorite thing is cooking while everyone sits around the kitchen counter. I can visit and catch up on the latest news while whipping up my favorite go-to small bites, salads with homemade vinaigrette, and mushroom sautés. When you cook with love, you can't serve a bad meal. Food means comfort, warmth, love, and nurturing. Food means home.

Where do you live?
I live in Los Angeles, CA. I am a first generation Californian and proud of my Mexican heritage.
What inspires you?
My family inspires me the most. I also get lots of inspiration from traveling, books, and farming.
Favorite color?
Green, of course, and all shades of pink too.
What do you love about farming?
Farming is nature, clean, new life, and aromatic. I love the role plants have in taking a simple meal into something fabulous. Herbs improve our standard of living through nutrition, wonderful taste, and fragrance.
Favorite flower?
That's so easy... lilies. It's my namesake. Although they are grown almost year-round, I am always excited when Easter comes along. I fill my home with beautiful fragrant lilies!
Perfume?
I'm obsessed with essential flower oils like rose, geranium, chamomile, jasmine, and ylang ylang. Mix and match them for your own signature blend. Believe me, people will notice.
Guilty pleasure?
Gergish Hill Chardonnay and cheese at the Hollywood Bowl.

'What A Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong. Every time I hear this song my heart skips a beat ❤️ and I sing along. It is a wonderful world.
